Kelly Clarkson, an American artist, actress and singer who was crowned the American Idol competition during its debut season, grew into the most popular national star. Kelly Clarkson was more than an instant star following her win, but she also signed a record contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records for a variety of albums. She has since released several album studios. A trio of her albums topped the US Billboard 200 chart, but others barely missed it. She is among the top performers who have emerged from American Idol. She began to experiment with themes and music when her success grew. Her distinctiveness as well as her singing abilities earned her critical praise in addition to a couple of notable distinctions. The most notable is that she was awarded the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her music career she has also appeared in movies as well as television programs. In addition, she wrote the book for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has also been involved with various charitable organizations.
