Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th 1997) is an American actor and a singer. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her siblings include three. When she was in her teens, she performed at nightclubs when she escaped from her home. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old, she pursued a degree in drama at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. Born on April 28th, 1967 at Brookfield, Connecticut. Her mother works as an accountant for payroll, while her father, a German-American, is a police officer as well as a automobile salesperson. Kari was born in the family of four.
