Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor and model, who is primarily involved in Indian cinema. The actress was also named the winner of the year 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Her family is multiracial, of Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian origin, Fernandez spent the early phase of her career in Bahrain. She graduated with a degree in mass communication at the University of Sydney and worked as a journalist for the TV in Sri Lanka for a considerable time prior to stepping into the modelling industry. She was one of Sri Lanka's most sought-after models after representing her country during Miss Universe 2006. She landed Jasmine's role in the Sujoy Ghosh film 'Aladin' during her 2009 professional tour in India. In 2011 she was scouted for the part of Priya who played the female lead of "Murder 2". The film received commercial and critical hit, which led to a flourishing professional career path for Fernandez. Since then, she has been in films such as Housefull 2 & 3, "Race 2", "Definition Of Fear" as well as Judwaa 2. She has been the brand ambassador of many companies and has earned multiple honors.
